There is a beast hidden in the trees on the right on top of the hill that you could sneak by if you want, and after that there will be a group of beasts at the bottom of the hill so keep to the left until you get to a ledge that you can jump down and follow that trail to the campsite. From there follow the road in a westerly direction.
